Our Design Process, from Brief to Installation

Every home is different, and so is every client. Our approach is designed to respond to both – thoughtfully, precisely and without compromise. Since 1994, Chamber Furniture has developed a fully integrated design, manufacturing and installation process, allowing us to guide each project from initial concept through to final installation with complete continuity.

The Chamber Furniture Design Journey

A Dedicated Designer

A Dedicated Designer

Your journey begins with a one-to-one consultation with one of our experienced designers, who will remain your single point of contact throughout the entire project.

From the first conversation to the final installation, your designer manages every detail. This continuity brings clarity, consistency, and confidence to every stage.

We typically recommend an initial visit to our showroom, where you can experience the quality of our craftsmanship firsthand, explore materials, and begin shaping your ideas. Alternatively, we can meet in your home, allowing us to respond directly to the character of the space, its light, and how you live within it.

Reimagining Your Space

With a clear understanding of your brief, we begin designing around you – your routines, your priorities, and how you want the space to feel as well as function.

This stage is as much about listening as it is about creating. Whether working within an existing footprint, alongside an architect, or from plans for a new build, we consider the space in its entirety.

We often begin with the end in mind – resolving flow, proportion, and practicalities early – so that every design decision feels natural and cohesive.

Our role is to bring both creativity and perspective, revealing opportunities within your space that may not have been immediately apparent.

We regularly collaborate with interior designers, architects and wider project teams, integrating seamlessly to ensure a cohesive and well-resolved scheme.

Visualising the Detail

Your design is then developed into a set of detailed drawings, allowing you to fully understand how the space will come together.

This is a collaborative and considered process. We refine, adjust, and evolve the design with you – ensuring every element feels resolved and entirely personal.

For those who would like to explore the scheme in greater depth, we can also provide high-quality visualisations and 3D renders, helping you to understand materials and finishes with clarity and confidence.

At every stage, the process is guided and unhurried – giving you the space to make informed decisions without feeling overwhelmed.

Designed and Made Together

One of the defining aspects of our approach is that everything is handled under one roof.

Our designers work in close partnership with our in-house craftsmen, ensuring that what is conceived on paper is realised with complete fidelity in the workshop.

This direct collaboration allows for a level of precision, flexibility, and attention to detail that is difficult to achieve when design and manufacture are separated. It also means that decisions can be refined in real time, with a shared understanding of both design intent and material craftsmanship.

The result is a seamless transition from idea to reality – where nothing is lost in translation.

Installed with Care and Precision

When your furniture leaves our workshop, it does so in the care if our own installation team.

Our fitters are fully employed by Chamber Furniture, bringing a deep familiarity with how each element has been made and how it should be installed.

We understand that having work carried out in your home can feel disruptive. Our team works with discretion and respect – treating your home as just that, not a building site.

From delivery through to final installation, every stage is carefully managed to ensure the finished result feels considered, precise, and entirely at ease within your space.
