For over 30 years, we have been designing and crafting bespoke kitchens for homes across the UK. Every Chamber kitchen is designed specifically for the client, the architecture of the home and the way the space will be used. There are no collections or predetermined styles to choose from.
Nevertheless, many of our clients arrive with a particular aesthetic in mind. These often fall into three broad design languages: contemporary, traditional and transitional. They help establish an initial design direction, before each kitchen develops into something entirely individual.

Contemporary Kitchens
Defined by clean lines, minimal detailing and handleless cabinetry, our contemporary kitchens embrace a modern aesthetic without compromising on practicality. Integrated appliances, carefully considered storage and refined proportions create spaces that are both highly functional and effortless to live with.
Traditional Kitchens
From classic Shaker, raised and fielded cabinetry to finely detailed period joinery, our traditional kitchens draw inspiration from architectural character and classical furniture making rather than any fixed style alone. Incorporating details such as lambs tongue mouldings and traditional joinery techniques, every commission is designed to complement the home while responding to the way it will be lived in.
Transitional Kitchens
Combining contemporary simplicity with traditional detailing, transitional kitchens are often well suited to period homes, modern extensions and renovation projects where the old and new sit comfortably together. With every element designed and manufactured in-house, we have complete control over finishes, colours, tones and grains, allowing different materials and styles to be combined with balance and precision.
Beyond
Many of our commissions sit comfortably beyond these broad design languages altogether. Every kitchen is individually designed, allowing materials, proportions and detailing to respond naturally to the home, the client and the brief, rather than a predefined aesthetic.
